BNI is a 24 year old business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter. With over 5,576 active chapters, and 111,733 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.
Trust is built up over time and you can get to know your fellow group members by conducting 1:1's to find out more about each other and what you do. All members have character and business reference checks and go through training to ensure they know how to get the best out of BNI.
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry copies of your card with them. When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend your services.

Our group meets each Friday at noon at Strickland Arms Kendal, we have bite to each and the meeting closes at 14:30. The top table comprising of Chapter Director, Secretary & Membership Co-ordinator are selected each 6 months and supported by a host of different roles.
Successful businesses depend on 'word-of-mouth' marketing as the best form of promotion there is. We cannot see any negatives in having a group of professionals who meet each week sourcing business for each other, they are warmed up referrals so the contact is expecting your call.
